By the time you can read this, we should already be back from our week in Iceland. Bill thought it would be best to not advertise our absence and asked me not to post while we were actually away. I don't know what his plan is, but I'm hoping to get a chance to blog while we're traveling and just schedule the posts to appear after we return.
So right now (back then?) I should be an hour from boarding the first of many flights that will eventually get us to our destination, but I'm still at home because that flight has been delayed. I always so enjoy running through ATL. Glad I'll get to do it again later today. And really, this delay is just an opportunity for me to use the internet for its intended purpose: talking about and looking at pictures of cats.
Riblet likes to leave missives for the cat sitter. They tend to be long, poorly written, full of cussing about me (and hinting at the new life she and "new mommy" could start together), and generally not fit for public consumption. Now that she no longer has access to her twitter feed, this is pretty much all she has going, so even though our usual cat sitter isn't available she still insisted on writing a couple of notes. The alternate sitter is a pair of teenagers who used to live next to us, but have since been replaced by goblins. The language has been toned down to outright boring, but I do find this supplement entertaining.
